The Southeast Region covers 160 km of coastline between San José del Cabo and La Paz, in Baja California Sur, Mexico. Its almost intact natural beauty has led to accelerated tourist and urban growth in the last decade, so good planning between residents, businesses and the government is essential.

We commission key scientific studies and gather additional key scientific information for the Southeast Region and make sure it is shared with the entire local community, entrepreneurs, and decision makers.

By engaging local students and teachers in our curricular programs and field experiences, we inspire them to envision, create, generate, and actively participate in projects that promote sustainable development in the region.
Communication
Through numerous programs, live and virtual, we make sure that both residents and tourists have access to information related to the importance and fragility of our coastal ecosystems.
