ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CAMPUS IN CABO PULMO
AS PART OF OUR EFFORTS ON ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION, CONSERVATION AND DISSEMINATION OF THE PRIORITY SPECIES AND ECOSYSTEMS OF THE SOUTHEAST REGION, WE ESTABLISHED A LEARNING CENTER, AN AMPHITHEATER AND A VISITOR CENTER TO SHARE INFORMATION WITH VISITORS AND RESIDENTS.
These spaces, developed by BCI and Pronatura Noreste, function as an educational and outreach campus showcasing our beautiful and delicate terrestrial and marine ecosystems.
In addition to the management and maintenance of the facilities, BCI promotes and coordinates many free events and activities that take place here such as:
Presentations and discussions held by scientists and conservation experts
Guided walks for observing local flora and fauna
Classes, workshops, and activities for children regarding park and nature conservation
Book and film presentations on related topics
Community forums on sustainable development for our communities
Celebration of traditional Mexican and regional festivals.

AREAS OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CAMPUS
VISITORS CENTER
There are three informational kiosks were built in 2017 by Pronatura Noroeste on a property provided by BCI. The interior exhibits, created by Rawls Arts and Designs, offer very detailed information about the underwater and terrestrial treasures found in Cabo Pulmo.
If you are in Cabo Pulmo at the Visitor Center, we can share all the information you need to have a great stay, such as hotels, restaurants, and tourist service providers, as well as the rules you must follow to protect this beautiful Protected Natural Area. LEARNING CENTER
It is an enclosed space with internet, air conditioning, furniture, a projector, and other educational resources, where classes, workshops, and group meetings are frequently held. Fill THIS FORMAT to request it.
AMPHITHEATER
This outdoor forum is ideal for presentations to large groups and is equipped with a projector, sound system, and furniture for up to 100 people. It is perfect for science outreach talks, naturalism presentations, films, many of which are organized by BCI.
